The Indianapolis Tea Party is hosting an open-house style event to help the US Senatorial Candidates get their required signatures to make the 2010 May primary ballot. Each candidate must have a minimum of 500 signatures from registered voters from each of the Indiana nine US Congressional Districts.

We have chosen this Beech Grove location on the south side of Indianapolis, because it is just a few minutes away from four of the Congressional Districts (4, 5, 6, 7).  We welcome signatures from any district!   All the Senatorial candidates have been invited, and ALL have accepted our invitation.  Come between the hours of 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. EST.  Come and leave as you wish...but don't forget to help out the candidates by signing their petitions.

Bring Your Own Pre-signed Petitions

Below are petitions for all of the candidates, along with basic instructions provided by each candidate.  Though we will have petitions for you to sign at the party, you may download and print the attached petitions for one or all of the candidates so your friends and family may sign them,  too.  Get as many signatures as you can, and bring the petitions with you on the 30th!

Petition instructions

  • Please have your family, friends, neighbors, co- workers, etc.  as long as they are a registered voter, sign the candidates’ petitions, and then bring the forms to the paty.
  • Signatures on one page must be from persons who reside in the same county.
  • Please note, any registered voter in Indiana can sign these petitions.  It does not matter if they plan to vote Republican, Democrat, Independent or Libertarian or if they have voted one way or another in the past.
  • Voters may sign petitions for more than one candidate.
  • Your signature only gives support for the candidate to get on the ballot.  It is your choice who you vote for on May 4th.
